Vintage Christmas Stocking 1960's Handmade Felt Holiday Stocking Girl W/ Puppy Dog Christmas Tree Custom Stockings Wall Art Deco
This is a vintage period 1960's felt stocking, more than likely made from a McCall's pattern. After more than a year of research, our best determination is that it was made from a McCall's 1960's stocking pattern and a very ingenious crafter made it her own! This is - as a matter of fact - one of two the crafter made! One (this one) has an adorable puppy dog waiting to be adopted.
The other has this puppy with a "sold" tag. The stocking with the puppy with the sold sign is listed here

****NOTE - Stocking is not lined and has been displayed, so tag shows some signs of being hung but I can find no evidence of it ever being used, condition is FANTASTIC for a 60+ year old stocking!****
